Hello! I'm a POC (black/latino) autistic/ADHD dragon from Brazil. My interests are usually gaming and drawing. Reddit refugee after getting banned multiple times for "threatening violence" for standing up against fascism.

  • Marathon is the complete opposite of ARC Raiders in the fact that it essentially forces/encourages you to fight. I give it like 2 months before all the casuals go back to ARC because of spawn rushers (they were already doing that during the server slam). And while Delta Force Operations kinda behaves similarly, they do have some ways to reign in the sweats by having multiple maps, multiple difficulties with gear caps, and a ton of other things that prevent bad players from getting farmed 24/7.

  • That is fair, it is very fun from what I've seen people play it, if not a bit frustrating to the point of people screaming at each other (all in good fun tho) and that CAN make for excellent content. Definitely agree on the optics being absolute dogwater tho 😭

  • Back when I played Call of Duty Ghosts, I was kinda obsessed with Salamence thanks to using a Salamence during my first playthrough of any Pokémon game ever, that being Pokémon Sapphire on an emulator. So I made that my username. But I also got angry on that game a LOT, so I extended it to RagingSalamence. But then people started calling me Raging so I kinda disliked that and inverted it to SalamenceFury. Around the time I also started participating on the pokémon askblog community on Tumblr, so I made a pokémon sona to go with all of that, and changed my internet alias to be Sal.

    Still going with this username and the previous iteration since then, but also sometimes I go with "DraconicSalad".

  • The citizens of San Francisco literally started hanging politicians when their corruption got exposed back in the 1850's and Sherman himself said "it's a lost fucking cause". The American public, especially the liberal side, has been pacified over the course of almost a century to believe violence is never the answer and peaceful protest will bring about change. But I think that is probably changing, given the reaction to the health insurance CEO's assassination.

  • The average liberal american is so fucking used to the police being a force of protection for them and them only that they completely forget almost all the time that cops can just kill you on a whim. They are all completely fine with police violence as long as it does not affect them. Most of them instantly short-circuit when you say this. Police has killed over 40k people since 1980, that's pretty much the entire population of certain small towns, but they'd rather freak out about AR-15s at their suburban safe school or when they go to the mall. And if you dare to tell this to fragile white people on social media they block you or call you a gun nut because they can't fucking confront their white fragility.

  • Hot take: school shootings (and mass shootings in general) are not enough of a problem to be even worth spending any political power on when the police kills more people per year than the amount killed by those spree shootings since 1982.

    I couldn't give a flying shit about white liberals finally getting to experience what's like to be a victim or know a victim of gun violence when black neighborhoods lose people on the daily ON THEIR OWN HOMES because of the city or state's refusal to enact actually effective gun violence prevention programs, and instead choosing to give a gorillion dollars to the police to the point they're better funded than entire countries' armies so they can kill us more effectively, and banning guns based on appearance and/or ergonomic features, or guns that are in common use by POC so they can effectively criminalize them further.

    Also, ya'll should notice how black schools never get shot up. You can kinda figure out why by yourself.

  • Messaging your reps actually works, though. If enough people flood the lines, the information will be passed to the rep and they don't usually feel good about it. It can actually change their voting - if you look on Bluesky you'll see various campaigns of line flooding that HAVE yielded results.

    Your post is extremely suspicious because it feels like you're actively trying to undermine and depress the voter into not doing something effective for some nefarious reason. No one without ulterior motives has ever tried to say calling or messaging your reps does nothing.
