Are Tom Bihn bags buy it for life, or has the quality dipped in recent years?

  • I have a travel bag I bought from them around 2017. It was my daily driver for transporting my laptop and gear to and from work until I started WFH in 2019, it is also my main carry-on bag when I travel.

    It still looks and feels brand new, nothing about it feels even close to breaking.

    YMMV, and I don't know about recent years, but I would absolutely buy from them again if I had a need.
