  • Will the simulation be them, now it won't but even in the future I doubt it. Certainly something like you might go on, something other people can not distinguish from you but you will die and somewhere deep down you will know the copy is just a ghoulish pretence. And the natural extension is a future population of dead copies of people talking about dead activities while our machines explore the universe in ways we hoped we would.

  • The term slop isn't helpful, all game environments are generated and realtime bespoke generation is certainly the future. AI will penetrate every niche as if the world was its first slightly fat girlfriend and so it is a safe bet it will commandeer resources like its freshers' week.
