  • PeerTube instances caches each others thumbnails. It’s possible I simply just need to increase the caching under settings to solve the issue.

  • What if you go the Techlore channel? I can see the thumbnails there.

  • It should prioritise on the profile of the user and then the connections between users, which is essentially federation.

    Normally you should be hosting your own profile and setting up hosting should be really easy.

  • No, but you can import a video from YouTube to PeerTube.

  • I find it pretty easy to convince non-tech older people to use Linux. It also helps just denying them tech support if they don’t use Linux 😁

  • It’s not even the game itself that’s a problem. It’s the shitty battle.net launcher that people always struggle to get working properly.

  • A little off-topic, but it’s kinda tragic how easy it is to install and play WoW private servers on Linux, compared to the official game. Some private servers even have launchers made for Linux. But a multi-billion company can’t manage…
