  • There are also good reasons for people to use AI music. If you just want some music as background in a video you want to post somewhere, that totally is a legal nightmare here where I live. If you're some small business, that is even more nightmarish. Licensing songs is expensive and hard to do, so just generating some ok tune is the best way forward

    • Stalin made a pact with Hitler to split Poland between both countries
    • After they attacked and occupied Poland, the Soviets murdered thousands of Poles in Katyn (and at other locations, we are talking about tens of thousands killed)
    • The soviet union denied the crimes and tried to frame them as a nazi massacre
    • They stopped after the fall of the soviet union in the 1990s, but nobody was ever prosecuted for all those crimes
    • Now the regime is crying about "russophobia" at the site of their own crimes
