Trying to sharpen my reading skills, and so far I have read these books:

  • Sherlock Holmes (not all of his stories)
  • Arsene Lupin
  • Sherlock vs Arsene

Still reading the last book, didnt finish it, and its chapters are much longer than the last 2 books, but they are interesting non the less.

Besides reading, my programming skills are also one of my priorities that I seek to improve.I started with flutter. Do message me if you feel like you can help 🙂

Did I mention that I am also learning 3d Modeling?Not the best at it but I can model basic stuff.

Other than that, I want to start storywriting too, because I love good stories, and I want to make a story game!

  • Ah, it makes sense, ddg browser uses builtin webview, of course it is lighter.

    You can keep using DDG app protection, but you can reduce the battery usage of tracker control by going into settings and disabling "find new trackers"

    This option finds and shows you the trackers each app has, disabling it will stop finding the trackers but will continue to block them.

    I’m curious to see how long I can keep it out of landfill. I’m trying for 2028, as a personal challenge. That will be almost 10 years out of a $200 phone

  • Good for you, that's great.

    But have you tried TrackerControl ? It can restrict internet from apps, and block trackers.

    I heavily recommend it, since you can also monitor and block system apps .

    DDG App Tracking Protection isnt as effective, but it is extremely easy to use and breakage is minimal.

    As for the DDG browser, I only use it when the website I am visiting doesnt work on firefox.

  • These are my predictions, it doesn't look hopeful, unfortunately:

    More division between people, like these labels: immigrant, christian, terrorist, Arab, Indian, pakistani. Why? Because we are stronger together, united, but the elites, or the devils, dont like that.

    Starvation becomes more common, due to food waste, climate change, and the economy.

    Freedom is non existent, unless you are very wealthy.

    Its awful, but I hope things go better.

  • For notetaking, I use butterfly, very recommended.it has infinite canvas, various pen options to fine tune how the pen works, and settings to change what each input does. (like touch is for selection, stylus is for pen, stylus button is for erasing)

    Give it a try, I am sure you will like (if you hand draw your notes), especially after the 2.4 update, the dev fixed alot of bugs.

    For pdf annotations, I use samsung notes (butterfly isnt as good for that in my opinion)
