Love is love is inclusive so it gets less push back. Telling people they have to worry and care about a group that they're not a part of is more difficult.
I used to game with this tgirl a lot. We were really close and the amount of people that would ask me about what was in her pants was annoying. Like no one would ask her directly, it was always me. I think people sometimes assumed we were together even though she had zero interest in me but that makes it even weirder.

I'm still messed up from what a certain someone did to me in high school, and it's taken her slowly treating the rest of our mutuals the same one by one for each of them to reach the same conclusion that I had back then. Except some of them deciding that they still want her in their life for whatever reason. People seem to have this weird idea that they can manage her or deal with her to prevent her from hurting them.
