I'd argue much larger Ls were actually centrally directed policies of ethnic relocation such as the deportations of Crimean Tatars or Koreans.
The deportations of Kulaks happened at a time of need in which forced expropriation of the land by the peasants was imperative to the rapid industrialization NEEDED to fulfill the economic plans that enabled the extremely fast industrialization of the USSE which ultimately saved the world from Nazism. Furthermore, those deportations were mostly decided by local soviets of peasants who had suffered under the thumb of said Kulaks for decades, and said Kulaks fought back against collectivization as a class. It was an act of class warfare, not an ethnic cleansing.

Eh. When this is done to a specific ethnicity I agree. The Soviet peasants quickly forced large numbers of kulaks to the east without much support and I wouldn't call it a genocide because they weren't threatening any ethnic or cultural group
To a great extent it's true that the Chinese way of development is because the west was generous and benevolent to it. This doesn't mean that it's western investments funding China's growth, but rather that the Chinese economy has been allowed to participate in international trade under serious premises such as the Sino-Soviet break and the restructuring of their economy to market socialism.
Don't get me wrong, this was China's plan, and their Marxist understanding of capitalism is what ultimately drove the west to allow such investment in china and their participation in the global economy at a time where the US could single-handedly keep whatever country outside global economy through sanctions. But it's true that China convinced the US not to do this.
The Chinese brand Samson makes the SR950 studio monitor-type headphones and I've found them on Ali for about 40€. They feature (according to the datasheet) a quite flat spectrum response.
Using PeqDB (free online tool) to equalize them to my taste using a sample song I love and know well, I got them sounding pretty much exactly how I want them to sound (had to boost the bass and the highs). Then using PEACE on Windows I could equalize the whole computer sounds with the exported data from PeqDB and now I have fucking gorgeous sound quality IMO for just 40€!
Clay tablets are super meh as long storage. They used unfired clay primarily because it could be erased and rewritten, most surviving clay tablets happened to get fired in accidental fires. We have significantly older carved stones and even paintings in cave walls.
