  • I'm gonna have to pass on the sheep, well at least the males. We had one, as a companion to a horse, and the damn thing would head butt us half the time and try to hump us the other. We had to carry a stick in just to feed it, or risk ending up with a line of spooge down our backs. It wasn't right.

Rats, on the other hand, are great pets. More people should give rats a chance.

  • Well, at least you were wanted.

I'm pretty sure they called my cell all week during work hours. Place had horrible reception so if the call came through at all, i couldnt answer cause well, im at work.

But nobody ever left a message so shrug

  • Well, like the pole started out getting dragged backward, and then forward again...the white spot on the ground is where I think the pole originally started out, and there's damage in front and behind that mark.

I think it didn't break cause it's meant to keep cars from plowing underneath the truck. If it broke it would defeat the purpose, and the car would end up with the driver somewhere under the trailer, decapitated or something...

I'll take aliens and Bigfoot in cahoots too! I bet one of those shape shifting cryptids had a hand in it too.

  • Im not sure im going to explain the well, but...

I think they backed into the pole and it bent the bar (or whatever that guard thingy is called) up and under so much so that the pole ended up behind the bottom rail of the bar. The metal bar, then, spang back into place somewhat. And the pole "bent" / angled backward (from the ground). When the trucker tried to moved forward to get off the pole, the pole got snagged in the hole due to the spring action and got ended up getting dragged back to its more upright position, and it ended up as you see it in the picture.

I dont think the hole in the ground from the pole is from it being dragged forward, so much as from it being pushed backwards.

Edit: someone I know that has family that drives trucks says that it also could have occurred if the other trucks on the side weren't there to begin with and the person was trying to turn and the trailer swung out and the pole got dragged past the first hole and into the second hole. I'm kinda skeptical it could happen that way considering the direction the pole was dragged in the ground but who knows. it's just another perspective. But he also thinks the picture is photoshopped so...

  • After Fukushima there was a pretty widespread movement to get rid of nuclear power.

They probably definitely wanted it closed. To bad they didn't guess the likely alternatives that would take its place, an push for that too...

  • That's what happened to me. Needed a printer in the middle of covid, ASAP. Nothing I researched was there, so I had a limited time to just pick a printer. Hmmm, this HP seems ok...

3 months later, there was no way I used all the ink. WTF. Go to buy more, and thats when I realized my mistake. !@#☆$%^&*

  • Hmm well TBS created it, but it used to come on sat mornings on regular broadcast (NBC) where I was.

It was voiced by tons of well known names, ran for 6 seasons, had a horrible live action movie made with Don Cheadle. Idk I personally didn't watch it, but it came on after something I did watch. The only thing I can really remember about it, is it's theme song...

  • Really? I loved living across from fenway. Free concerts, watching all the idiots riot celebrate without having to participate. Two T stops within walking distance...

I suppose I could understand, though, if you lived by Lansdowne.

  • Well its allow only essential / reject all non essential cookies.

Idk I used to have to go through one by one and do this. Now there's typically somewhere around 4 subcategories. Essential / strictly necessary cookies say always active and there's nothing you can do to change anything in that category and everything else has been lumped into other categories you can reject by hand or hit the reject button. all those companies fall under marketing. I guess maybe if I turn off the marketing / targeting category, there's some within that don't turn off, but much of the time they don't even give me the option to check who's participating.

Maybe I have trained myself not to go to those places. If I have, it wasn't on purpose. Occasionally, i get interested in a subject and randomly search, but i dont do most social media so idk. Maybe I don't even realize hit the back button anymore when i see it menus that make me do this. To me this post seems like something that I would encounter maybe a year ago , if not more. Not something I see on the regular now. (Edit: suppose since about a year or two after the EU passed their laws)

  • To be fair I havent gotten one of those types of captchas in a while. And now there's typically a reject all non essential cookies button somewhere.

Edit: I will clarify. It's not that I don't get captchas, it's that I don't get the "which picture in the grid contains..." captchas. I keep getting some stupid puzzle piece captcha. Idk.
