You don't even provide full information in the story, did she have any pain medicine or procedures to minimize the pain, was the baby on time, did she dilate correctly, what was the baby to mother mass ratio... lots of unaccounted variables. I'll counter your story with my aunt pulled her tooth out with pliers waaaay too early with no anesthesia and said it was nothing compared to her first child.
