For me there isn’t one; I tend not to ask people to do things that I wouldn’t do and as a team leader I’m aware that those around me are learning through observing me - I don’t want them to learn bad habits so actually their presence keeps me in check.
Hmmm.
Sega is a subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings. Sammy is a major developer of pachinko machines.
I wonder where this is going?
Problem is they even with paying the third party app gets an inferior experience (no polls, nothing marked NSFW).
Somewhat America-centric but 99% Invisible is pretty neat. It’s about the technical and design backgrounds of common everyday objects.

I’d love to learn how to get started with IRC and Matrix.
Mine is similar. Arrived, day one in a new team; this one was more high-intensity than the usual - a fast-paced and very hands-on work environment. Noticed the team leader was working in a dysfunctional and unsafe manner; seemed unsteady. As the most junior member and a newbie at that I hesitated to confront directly; thankfully I managed to find a more experienced colleague. Scene was made safe; turned out the guy was drunk as a skunk. Canned within the hour.
I’ve since learned to be stronger and more willing to confront suboptimal or dangerous performance in team members, regardless of their seniority.
That was pretty scary.
Possibly. Mine have been in sea / pool a fair amount and have been washed (cold water) a few times, but I’m not in a particularly hot country.
That all makes sense; thank you for getting back to me.
If you sign up to the ECHR you are saying that you will secure the rights defined under it within your jurisdiction; that's Article 1. So it doesn't make the laws, but it requires that they be made.
Are you trying this in Safari?
There was a time when it seemed a new one of these dropped every week. YouTube just ain’t the same.
Awesome. I would love to see these in person but unfortunately there aren't places near me that stock higher end Seiko (never mind Grand Seiko) regularly.
The last and only printer that I bought from HP worked well and didn’t pull any shenanigans, it was a Laserjet 5L.
Since then, feedback from colleagues and what I’ve seen from reviews and tech communities put me off buying HP again. Between their cloud printing, their inkjet cartridge verification and the USB ports covered in stickers and now this…

Beautiful; these are truly classic KS. Are you fortunate to have the “gold medallion” caseback?
Interesting; I’m yet to have that happen with any of mine - one is four years old (same olive green colour as yours but with white luminous stitching from Ericka’s).
Cory Doctorow (pluralistic.net) has a number of stories now on the concept of “enshittification”. Basically businesses start off being good to customers but eventually get to a point where, if they’re dominant the drive for endless profit results in them turning to squeezing suppliers, customers, everyone.
Tech enables new forms of exploitation.
