  • Private equity is destroying everything. Nursing homes, hospitals, pharmacies, veterinarians, housing.

Hell, since the huge data center rush is raising electricity and water prices private equity firms saw dollar signs and started buying up utility companies to add their own increase for pure profit.

  • Totally a normal thing a person does when they're trying not to scream at everyone to leave them alone because they're trying to mourn they deceased parent because dirty soulless politicians want them to keep the death a secret for their political games.

  • That's how robber barony works.

  • That being would never make it through the burning house scene. But it would be delicious.

My first time playing the Max Payne I was a teenager and it also just drinking a whole lot of cough syrup. It was one hell of a ride.

  • "Pls gibs me clicks 4 monies."

  • Yes, it's always a wonderful idea for creative game companies to stop being creative and trying to come up with cool new things and instead focus on things that have sold well in the past to please the shareholders.

That always works out for everyone.

  • The US.

    Denmark.

  • ... I mean, I don't. They've done some cool shit, but they haven't made one actual good game much less a billion dollars worth of good games. But after losing steam, GOG, PlayStation, and Microsoft accounts I just sort of got desperate.

  • Idk, I'm not gay but I'd go with something that would fuck up search terms.

    "The Real Republican Convention."

  • It's not just them. I accidentally ended up in prison for 5 years and lost my Google account, and because I had 2FA set up with email and the phone number I had at the time on pretty much everything that means I also lost my steam account and pretty much every single digital account I had. Thousands of games on different storefronts.

Ironically the only single place that helped me recover my account was the kind folks at Roberts Space Industries. I was an initial backer... Maybe one day the game will be done.

Everything else I pirate now. If you don't own it physically, you don't own it.

  • All the mental illness and personality disorders of Reddit, without as much corporate ownership and shilling.

  • Ah, so they found Mitch McConnell then?

  • You can live one full human lifetime without doing any at all.

  • You must be lying, that guy said you wouldn't regret it.

  • Thank you, sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who embarrasses myself on the internet.

  • Look, is awful money, but they actually give me great health insurance so I couldn't turn it down

  • ... You seem to be assuming Google search frequencies are the only reasonable metric to measure the increase of a thing in the world.

  • I had to crank it up to very hard after the hotel mission that ends act 1. I shouldn't be going through that section like a God at level 8, taking no damaging and burning everyone who opposed me. Totally kills the immersion.

Whole time I was like "Bruh just use my med thing. It's got two charges and I don't need it. I've killed everything around. I have like 4 healing items, man. You don't have to just keep bleeding out. Shit works fast. I've jumped off buildings and been running again in like 3 seconds. '

  • But it really doesn't.

You could replace number of data centers with total number of Taylor Swift songs released and get that same idea. Taylor Swift music existing causes dizziness, and it must be stopped.

Or you could replace number of data centers with "Sean Connery alive?" and decide dizziness has been going up since he died. He was somehow guarding the world against becoming dizzy, and we lost that protection when he passed. :/

Putting two random things on a chart like this doesn't actually show or imply anything, other than that the person who made it likely wants you to believe there's some kind of connection.
