My low budget setup for a weekend 😇
I was on a short trip on the weekend and wanted to have my luggage on the bike instead of carrying it on my back. (Unfortunately, I don't have a front bag yet.)

During my trip I realized that my legs are hitting the rod a little. I repositioned it a little further back during the tour.

To increase the stability, you can wrap the rubber straps around the rack (behind the wheel) which will increase the tension of the straps.

After removing the stock grips and trying to fit the GP2's, the realization came pretty quick: they are roughly 1cm too long. So, I cut them to the right size (as a lot of others also did).
Now they fit nicely, but since the horns are using up space on sides of the grips, my (large) hands don't have enough space and now my thumbs collide a little with the shifters.
The new color "emerald lacquer" available for the Brompton P-line looks soooo cool. 😍

I love my matcha green C-line, but this would have been such an awesome color.

Specs seem to be:
Beyond X: M6L in olive green with beige fork, stem and rear end, orange frame stickers, Schwalbe Racer Tanwall, Brompton Borough Backpack in olive green and saddle bag in olive green). No dynamo, only M handlebars.
There is a (GERMAN!) video with some info about this edition from the Eurobike fair.

@Zugfreundin @Rheinradler @brompton ich hab mir zum 49 Euro ticket ein elektrisches brommi gekauft, ohne wäre.mein arbeitsweg richtiger Sport. Das e brommi gibt es leider nicht im Leihangebot

@brompton @Atemu Thank you very much for the tip! I ordered the "GS1 Evo" yesterday, which also has the mount on the inner side like the GA3 but with a larger palm-rest area, similar to the GP1. Unfortunately, it does not come in so much lovely colors as the GA3 does.
If the GS1 don't work for me, I will definitely give them a try!
Try the GA3, they are fixed on the inner end and fit nearly perfectly on a Brompton:
@brompton I think I might switch to the GP1 (= without horns) at some point, as the ergonomic shape of the grips itself is really nice and comfortable! And it would give more space for my hands and they might just fit well enough without cutting them.

@Cityradler @brompton Das Modell C-Line in schwarz. Das konnte man sich nicht aussuchen, weil es festgelegt ist. Aber die Probefahrt bei einem Laden mit dem Standardsattel lief gut. Der Sattel war mein Hauptkriterium, denn:als ich vor 20 Jahren das Birdy kaufte,war 1 schlechter S. drauf (für Männerhintern konzipiert). Es soll jeden Tag ankommen.2 Nachbarn wissen Bescheid, damit es klappt. Hoffe,dass auch UPS das kapiert!😐
