According to sources, the attack on the station occurred around 05:00. As can be seen in the obtained video, an explosive device was planted under the railway tanks, which were on the tracks and clearly filled with fuel.
A few seconds later, a powerful explosion occurred through a remote detonation. After that, the tanks were engulfed in fire, with the fire then spreading to the entire territory of the railway station.

The Syzran Oil Refinery has a design capacity of up to 8.5 million tons of crude oil per year, which is about 3.08% of the total volume of oil refining in the rf.
The enterprise specializes in the production of gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and other petroleum products that are supplied to the rf occupation forces.
