With all the news about humans travelling into space for fun, I thought it would be time for a challenge about space.

Ready to unleash your creativity? Show us your vision of humanity’s future in space! Whether it’s futuristic space stations, colonized planets, or deep-space exploration, we want to see how YOU imagine humans conquering the stars.

Submit your best AI-generated artwork and be part of this exciting journey beyond Earth. I'm sure you can do a lot better than my space station on the moon ;)

Like previous entries, take your time! Some of you can be super fast (me included) and the early bird often catches the worm. So for this challenge I’m subtracting a point for anyone who posts within 24 hours. It's not ideal, and I know it's not something everybody likes, but we should settle that outside the contest I think.

Hurray! I'm going to need a while to come up with a new challenge though, it's kind of late now. So please be patient :)

Prompt: high-angle, sci-fi movie, a cluster of colossal aerostats, drifting above menacing purple lighting clouds in a violent alien atmosphere, a spacecraft is on approach to land at the aerostat, dramatic lighting, shot on 35mm film --ar 3:2 --v 6.1
In the violent upper atmosphere of a gas giant, aerostat research outposts allow scientists to observe weather patterns up close and collect gas samples. Supply runs are a lethal endeavor and can only be performed when lightning activity is at its lowest.

I felt that things are looking pretty dire nowadays. So I decided to go with something that sounds positive for me.

Prompt : A futuristic solarpunk city on an alien planet, with buildings covered in vertical gardens and solar panels. Solar-powered airships float in the sky, while wind turbines and sleek electric vehicles move through lush streets filled with exotic flora. People live in harmony with nature, tending to community gardens and harvesting renewable energy. The city integrates with the natural landscape, bathed in bright sunlight, embodying sustainable and eco-friendly living. Trees have blue and purple leaves.

  Though I always feel like vertical cities like these need more sky bridges on different levels.
  You would need so many elevators just to get from one place to the next. Unless you're into some serious stair walking :)

As the ship shuddered, little Noah stood by the viewport, pressing his tiny hand against the cool glass. His breath fogged up the window as he stared out at the chaos unfolding in the skies beyond. Planets hung like marbles in the void, burning and fractured, and streaks of light flashed by—the endless war raging on in the distant space. He didn’t understand why everything outside was crumbling, but he could feel the tension around him.

Prompt: A photo of a dystopian future Mars colony. Humans are exploiting the resources of Mars with oil drills, mining, factories, robots, and trains and spacecrafts carrying minerals and products. The environment is severely polluted with smoke and waste. Add a quarry with a deep hole, add some robots carrying raw materials.
- Interesting. AI knows the surface of Mars, so it paints it red, but it doesn't know its inside, and doesn't understand it should be the same color.
