I have a few improvement suggestions for the web interface for lemmy.world (and possibly other lemmy instances using the same UI).

I'll put them here, but if someone can point me to the best spot for devs to actually see them, that'd be appreciated.

• When I click on my username > profile and look at my list of comments, it inherits my settings for Sorting, and for Language. Meaning, the same settings I might actually want to apply to the front page of the instance ALSO apply to the list of MY OWN COMMENTS in my profile.
• This is BAD because it means, visually, my own comments appear to vanish or be "deleted" when certain sorting and language settings are applied
• Scenario one: I changed my default front page Sort Type to Top Six Hours in order to stop the front page from clinging to 2-day-old posts and instead show me smaller subs w/ activity. But it also applied it to my own comments in my profile, so if I haven't commented in 6 hours myself, my post history seems to vanish into thin air with no obvious way to clear the filter and show all just for my profile. I'm forced to go into settings and change my default front page sort filter so that my own comments on my own profile stay reliably visible to me.
• Scenario two: I fumble-fingered myself into posting a post on a sub in the avesta language. My profile was only set to show Undetermined and English. Thus, my own post vanished into thin air because it was tagged by accident with a language I was not set up to view. Again, when I am on my own Profile page, the default should show everything, and I should have a way to immediately reset all filters to show everything, regardless of my settings for the front page and viewing OTHER people's posts.

I honestly thought lemmy.world was losing data or something or I had a mod delete my post because I had no idea the Sort filter and the Language filter would so thoroughly hide my own posts on my own profile page from me.

I didn't figure the language one out until someone else posted on my "invisible" post, and the Notification allowed me to finally see and access the link to edit it.
