Noooooo! I finally had a main character to relate to! If you like Bob's Burgers and weren't watching this, shame on you. Not on the exact same level, but still really nice.

I like Bob's Burgers, but I think back when I checked out this show it wasn't clicking for me. Maybe it's worth giving it another chance?
Same basic creative/writing team, as I understand it. Same animation style. Like with most shows, it took awhile to find its footing, but had the same kind of warm, optimistic charm as Bob's Burgers. I'd hoped they'd get a crossover or two.
