We live in a color revolution era. How do I distinguish between a revolution that support our cause and a color revolution

Because it seems like every fucking protest has the stench of western-backed color revolution

By withholding judgment, choosing to read the history of that place instead of the news, reading news representing as many ideological perspectives as possible, and engaging in discourse with others who are doing the same.
It takes a lot of effort to arrive at accurate conclusions and it's never guaranteed.

  A nice cheat that can usually atleast point you in the right direction is to see what the US state department says. If the instant it happens theyre coming out like "The people of X are fighting for their liberty and freedom and bla bla" then you can usually guess they had a hand in it.

  that is not a cheat, that is an integral part of the analysis. no one needs to cheat. we are not clairvoyant, we recognize patterns, we have a solid understanding of the opposing interests involved, and with this understanding, as events play out, a clear picture will emerge.
  our job is to observe, learn, analyze, discuss, and in some cases provide material support - being the first one to be right on the internet is not among our priorities.

Did the current government show any sort of backbone in not following US directives?
If yes, it is a color revolution. People always forget that these revolutions have justified beginnings. The targets in recent times were corrupt and imcompetent governments, they were however not fully subservient to the US and close with China.

The easiest way I do I just duckduckgo "movement leading" org and their funders with "Endowment" and voila! Most of the evidences I collected on US imperialists are almost exclusively through dorking and OSINT. I keep searching until I reach the original sources, it's how I know anonymous source links back to state department. Funnily enough, dorking is exactly how GE, Nathan Rich, Greg J Stoker and Brian Berletic researching. Real OSINT is just search engine dorking, no need for bullshit tools like CIAingcat giving paid lessons lmao. Also shit like NED, USAID, Open Society, Open Technology Fund, Congress of Cultural Freedom, RFA, RFE, Radio y Televisión Martí, VOA.
