In Florida, it’s illegal to sell raw milk for human consumption. However, it is legal for pet consumption, creating a loophole for people to still buy raw milk for themselves, said food safety lawyer Bill Marler.

  Damn, this little line actually explains a lot. Someone raised on cherry-picked scripture probably thinks you can pick and choose which science to follow, too. It ties in with the stupid argument of "science is another belief." They have no concept of a system that works despite "belief," where certain results are bound to happen repeatedly no matter how you feel about it.
