Safeway workers at 250 California stores could go on strike Saturday

Good luck guys. We’ve mostly stopped shopping at Safeway. If I’m gonna pay such high prices, I’d rather support the locally-owned grocery store down the street that I know I’m super lucky to have, plus Costco and TJs occasionally.

Safeway gives them so few hours, will we really notice? I've gone to the Rockridge Safeway at times and been certain there were no staff there at all (self checkout only, meat desk closed, pastry area closed, nobody stocking shelves)...
