I remember when the Nexus was the open reference device that you could play with. The Pixel is now as closed as an iPhone. Thanks Google!
- The sentiment is valid, but being as closed as an iPhone is quite an exaggeration. You can't even use a different keyboard on an iPhone let alone a different launcher or lock screen lol
  
  You can definitely use a third party keyboard on iphone. They only force you to use their keyboard when entering passwords, which I can undestand their argument for.
  
  Yeah. I remember using a custom keyboard back when I had an iPhone 4S lol
