I don't mean to get in your face about this, but whether or not you're critiquing institutional racism, your comment still sort of lands thoroughly in the "dangers of satire" zone. Meaning, joke or not, you are repeating the sentiments of the racists with little to no modification. The sarcasm is heavily implied, but you're still speaking it into existence. I had a music tutor once who would say "practice makes permanent", and I feel like your comment is sort of practicing thinking that someone can be "the wrong color", and practicing thinking that a certain outcome is therefore expected.

I'm glad you did. I saw it and before reading the reply my only thought is that it was mocking institutional racism. I learned something today.
