It is legitimately a significant thing. At last year's con, I'm sure I saw at least hundreds of people doing carpet-patterned cosplay.

(There's one Deadpool/Marriott Carpet/inflatable T-Rex cosplayer who decided to march with the preceding Deadpool group, LOL.)

Yup. Just imagine what the seats would look like if they were white. Probably also a graffiti pattern, but an extremely unpleasant one...
