Oh they will, but not once they become big enough to be a vital part of our economy. If you're a small business that expanded to a few locations before supply chain issues force you to shut down, America will absolutely let your corporation die.
If you're an airline? Keep making those terrible business decisions that fuck over thousands of your customers every day! We won't even partially nationalize you! Here's a few billion dollars of bailout money!
Airline grift is beyond obnoxious....
But every "core" industry functions the same.
We pay for everything so they can collude to fix prices and daddy Sam let's them!
