moocow @lemmy.world Though I love Linux with all my heart, i don't even recommend it to family. Mostly out of fear of having to provide tech support .

No. I only know Linux. At least that's what I tell them.

I do because I already am tech support and Linux is easier than windows. Now my close family uses Linux and very rarely needs any help
7 0 Replyatmur @lemmy.world Same here. I’m going to be tech support anyway, so they might as well be using an operating system that doesn’t break every 5 minutes like Windows. Aside from the occasional printer weirdness, I really haven’t had to do much. Linux just works.
