Oh I had no idea! I just assumed it was closed source because I had to pay to get the Pro version. Still an app worth paying for though

If you downloaded Slide off of the google playstore, the premium version was paid as a way to help support the dev. If you downloaded it off of F-Droid, or directly from Github, the premium features were free.

GitHub page says it's open-source., this version we don't know yet.

Can confirm, it'll be foss, though the code is kinda horrifying :D

It's copyleft, not permissive, so we do know it'll continue to be Free Software.
