Should the United States move Labor Day back to May 1st like the rest of the world?

Sure, as long as you put another holiday in its place. I like having Memorial Day to start the summer and Labor Day to end it.
Same. What would we create to take its plsce?
Unofficial End of Summer Day. So, pretty much how Labor Day is actually celebrated.
Veteran's Day is in November. That's dumb. Let's move it to where Labor Day is now.
Veteran's Day is in November to commemorate the armistice at the end of WWI. It should not be changed
We could always move Veteran's Day to September but then establish Armistice Day on 11 November, which is what the rest of the world calls that day. Net result would be one more federal holiday (just with some renaming).
Or, we could mess things up by leaving Labor Day and Veteran's Day alone and adding "Armistice Day" in May. :)
I'd like to move it just because it's the first argument out of people's mouths against making election day a national holiday (as it should be).
