Trump Plans to Open More Than a Billion Acres of U.S. Waters to Drilling

The plan from the Interior Department is one of the president’s most significant steps yet to increase domestic fossil fuel production.

I will note that the US is a net oil exporter, so this is all for overseas consumption.

  Can't decide how I'd feel about this.
  On one hand, they'd probably ruin the scenic ocean views from Mar-a-lago. On the other, the owners would probably make a tom (more) money off it.
