I don't see how Dutch can do anything about it other than bowing their heads and agreeing to the Chinese. Like, everything is produced and packed in china, so they can try to take over as much as they want, but all cards are held by the Chinese.
It will be solved in the long-term as the Nexperia crunch sees carmakers asking for ‘China-free’ supplies as I have read in this community.
It will, but it is not decided yet how big the problems are going to be in the short-term, nor is it decided how short the short-term will be.
