I REALLY dislike this kind of attitude. Spotify is probably one of the biggest tech companies that most Americans rely on for a daily basis so we can't just give up on it. If you give up on a company for (in this case, relatively/very minor) reliance on certain practices, you won't have any companies to rely on as an alternative at all.
