Right? It is so unnecessary, and the point would also come across with way fewer/less intense stunts as you call them appropriately. Oh well… might just not be for me, then.

@GreenBlue A series that strikes me as similar but not nearly as problematic is Faraway Paladin. You might check it out if you're not familiar with it.

That looks very interesting! I actually haven’t really watched any anime in like 6 years except for AoT and a movie up until the last two-ish months, so I’m still not very up to date and recommendations are always welcome. I’ll look into it for sure, thank you.
