I never know how much truth is behind claims like this, we've been seeing claims like this for a very long time now. Yet the war continues.
I hope it's true, the only end I see to this war is if Russia's economy can't sustain it anymore

Ukraine has only systematically targeted Russian oil infrastructure for less than a year. So that is one variable which has changed.

The war can go on for a long time with a bad ecconomy. Most of the bad results will be paid over decades following the war not now.
