Are you ethnic Chinese? AFIAK, That's the most common reason PRC issues a visa to foreign citizens, so they can spend time with relatives in mainland China

Dad is ethnic German, Mom is ethnic Chinese, that makes me ethnically confused. But I pass as slightly off-looking Chinese, yes.
