I watched Mickey 17. It didn’t deserve the hate it got; I thought it was fun and original.

Agreed. I didn't consume many reviews until after I watched it and was confused. Did people go in expecting a different genre of movie? Something more artsy and less humorous maybe? It's not going to win Oscars, but it is a solid adaption of the book and representative of the genre.
