If Hogg is going to be harping on about gun control in that role as he has in the past then he does need to go. It's a losing issue and he will bring that baggage to sink the rest of the platform. Instead, make everything about protecting rights and freedoms.

I cant blame a school shooting survivor to be a little opinioned on gun issues.

That's the problem with him in a leadership role, is that it's like a banner he carries that defines him to the public. Basically a flag that says Democrats 4 Gun Bans to public perception. And this loses votes.

Meh, I dont follow the belief that gun regulations couldn't be more popular.
If I were Hogg I would just focus on stronger communities means less gun violence.
