❗️Lyman Front
Russian forces continue their infantry assaults in the area of responsibility of the 66th Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Brave. More than half of all combat engagements are occurring in the sector of the front where our soldiers are fighting. This covers over 20 kilometers of the front line, meaning there's more than enough work to go around.
✔️Russia began preparing for a large-scale offensive in this direction back in June of last year. Initially, they probed our defenses using infantry and equipment. Later, they attempted to wear down our defenders with regular assaults by small groups. Throughout this time—and still today—the enemy has shown no regard for its losses in its pursuit of a single goal: breaking through our defenses.
🐴In the final phase of preparation, Russia brought in qualified UAV crews and well-trained infantry with a clear motivation to fight on the Lyman axis.
✔️As a result, there has been a significant increase in the enemy’s assault activity in our sector. Despite exhaustion and a stark imbalance in strength, we continue to carry out our combat missions with honor.
