I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, but I'm using sync and I'm not seeing any ads at all.
I also have DNS66 through f-droid though...

I think currently there's no ads, just placeholder for it, but some people also add they saw ads, so idk 🤷

I saw some ads when I used the default full sized cards, but switching to a more compact view which i prefer anyway made them disappear.
