Great meme, and not a bad recommendation, but I find personal blocks to be a great tool myself. After spending a month blocking the most extreme people over there as they popped up in my feed, the remaining memes and commenters are quite nice.
That's what I love about lemmy. A little curating of your feed and dropping the occasional abhorrent 'human' into the blocklist makes this a pretty nice place.
Finally, someone who takes control over their own lemmy experience. Much more effective then being weird posting cringe feudposts about other instances and begging admins to block us for them.
