abaybas @lemmy.world Cute but what's the takeaway here? Your shortcomings help others?

If you're not good at the thing others expect you to do, you may be good at something else.

10 2 ReplyMajorHavoc @programming.dev Lol. But that bucket isn't going to get fired because it provides balance and still almost doubled the woman's carrying capacity.
1 0 ReplyAceBonobo @lemmy.world Will get replaced
1 0 ReplyMajorHavoc @programming.dev Yeah, if the woman is lucky.
But the woman in this comic doesn't look like she's rolling in spare money to replace a buck that still mostly works.
(Having to spend time to carry water on a walking path isn't usually a signal of extravagant wealth.)
She probably threatens the bucket with replacement daily, though.

Retirement is bad! You should keep working even if you're worn out and not fit for purpose! Keep laboring!
7 0 Replywieson @feddit.org Don't throw away the bucket, think how a little flaw may be beautiful and even useful.
1 0 ReplyGrandwolf319 @sh.itjust.works I don’t get it either, does the water holder want to water the flowers? Cause otherwise it’s still a bad bucket
