DARVO refers to behavior by a wrong-doer after they’ve been called out for their misdeed: “Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.” Simply put, it means that once confronted, an abuser will vigorously deny it and claim to be the actual victim. “I know you are, but what am I?!”
