Incredible that the Japanese government effectively sided with a presidential assassin’s cause.
- it helps the public response to the assasination was akin to "well he's got a point"
  
  Two things can be true at once.
- Well, the guy is in jail for what he did, and as bad as his action was the government can't just ignore the issues he uncovered.
  
  Dude is one of the most successful assassins of all time, not only did he eliminate his target the response was exactly what he hoped to achieve
- More like: wow, a rational response!
  Just because someone delivers a message badly doesn't mean the message is incorrect.
