Why do I have to upgrade the tags on every Unmarked Crossing I make in iD?
It's very annoying. :(

As a JOSM user, who has only used iD occasionally, what does this "upgrade" do?
@randomaccount43543 @une_abeille My guess is that iD now implements the crossing:markings scheme where you would put the type of markings under the new key, whereas the crossing key is limited (for now) to controls means
crossing:markings
crossing
It adds crossing:markings=no, which I feel like an unmarked crossing should have by default.
