I honestly think a one-state solution is the only way to fix the middle east problem. That state being plasma, and later glass. Warn the people to get out before the due date, remove the animals and any endemic plants worth keeping, and nuke the whole area into glass so that it remains uninhabitable for thousands of years. There, problem solved. No more fighting if there's nothing to fight for. Perfect solomonic solution.
