The linked URL (also, here) provided as always by siv9939, will be the go-to template for this years Canvas for our community! It is pre-set to the correct co-ordinates, just dial down your opacity as needed and begin clickin'!
If you haven't done Canvas before (or Place back on Reddit), Canvas is a once a year, collaborative limited time event where members of the Fediverse can draw pixel art designs together on a grand scale!
Everything starts July 12th, 2025 @ 4am UTC (Midnight Eastern time tonight).

Another group is overlapping our template. I messaged someone on it and they said it's a secret activism related thing. They also have decent crew working on it so I think it's time for a backup plan.
We can do our design from last year, or the bigger one we didn't use. If people really wanted to do the ring I can always try to scale it down, but that'll mean less time to draw it. I'm headed to bed, so I'm willing to let Geek make the call when he gets on. Good luck, morning crew.

Edit: I think we can kill the dominion banner with some effort through the day, but we're getting VOID'd as well, but there's no room to move in anywhere at this time, so pressing forward!

Yeah, I spent at least a half hour last night making two pixels black only for dominion to make them white again. When I went to bed the void looked like a tadpole so I thought it was with them. Last year the canvas expanded at some point so we can always try to get a space there, although I'm sure it'll be even more of a shit show since there's no place to plan things out.
I'm still gonna work on it here and there, see how far we can get at least while I'm cooking and gaming and such through the day. Not sure if we'll end up making it thanks to the fuckholes but if the best we can do is try, we did!
I looks like we might be able to slide last year's design in here. We'd have to go behind the fediverse logo, but it's better than fighting two other groups.

I realized there's a red pixel on the template that should be black. It's at the base of the point on the red arrow. Here it is circled. I thought about making a new template, but figured since we don't have a lot of people working I could just point it out here.
..so ironically I remember this exact same issue last year ROFL

On the off chance we need to use it again next year I went ahead and fixed it on my file, unless we want it to become a tradition.
