I'd be happy with it if only it kept marking as read the posts on scroll... Like come on, I am not a code guy, but I am aware it only requires a single code line to fix.
It might be a single line to fix, but there's a deployment and publishing pipeline that we don't necessarily know how it works.. not saying it's impossible, just saying that it's slightly more involved than just a single line
Strange, that still works for me. If it stopped working I'd switch as well

It is an instance thing, although I thought lemmy.world was updated to the version when this change was implemented server side.
Which was that? They're still on 0.19.3
Yeah, was searching for this, how to enable and why it wasn't working. Ugh!
It doesn't, my favorite apps for Lemmy at the moment:
- Summit
- Boost
- Voyager
- Eternity
They all have said features (and a button to clean read posts).
