I recommend Lawnchair. I'm currently using LineageOS so my launcher is trebuchet. Unfortunately los don't package it separately.

Been using lawnchair for years but there's some things I wish it had to make it perfect. Namely, I want to be able to sort the app drawer by most used.

I tried the latest beta version and the global search is quite buggy. Also doesnt have searxng support ¯(ツ)_/¯ . But it looks good.
I think fossify launcher has more scope cause it can integrate all of it's other applications like files, clock, calendar, etc.
Open source android is looking super neat rn.

Just put your most used apps on the second desktop. It's not perfect but it works.

That's just not the same thing and doesn't solve my problem.
