My first guess was he wasn't raised on this planet but then there's John Redwood.
So I'm going for the fact that he is from the first generation whose parents were on mephedrone when they were conceived.

Holy Hell. These people need to fire whomever is running their PR/marketing campaigns, because their photography skills really suck.
There are a few (not many) decent photos that don’t make John Redwood look like some horrendous monster. So I would imagine that those other photos are bad angles or lighting.

I’m down to two reasons:
- He must Pon Farr every 7 years, or
- He’s made entirely from rubber, and must continually go through the vulcanization process to maintain his shape?
