I’m really hoping that Valve releases a new headset by the time my Quest inevitably becomes unusable.

I would expect Valve's next headset to be expensive, complex and requiring extensive configuration by the user, just like their previous efforts. Pretty much the polar opposite of the Quest.

Obviously you've never had a headset from Valve. It is literally plug in 3 things, setup space so you don't hit your monitor (optional) and play it.

If you struggle with plugging a cable into a computer then VR probably isn’t for you.
