Maybe I'm internet-poisoned at this point, but I find people use TIL sarcastically more often then not, and I was confused about that sort of reaction. What Shrike502 meant is that communism is a stage of development that a country can't reach. You can't abolish state, when there are capitalist states around pissing in your cornflakes. It dawns on me now that you might've though he was talking about the ideology. That's why some of us don't like using the word for ideology and just say Marxism, btw. Neater that way.
