  • I need to actually engage in collective action with my local chapter. I leaflet when I can and take other individual actions, but have been shy about collective in-person stuff…. (I’ll say it….. I’m a liberal!) They do a good amount mutual aid and education from what I can tell though, so it’s on my list to do

    • for what its worth, the PSL people that i've met have been the friendliest and most approacheable people i've had the chance to talk to in the US!

      • That’s been my experience too via email/chat. I appreciate that it actually requires engagement with political theory as well (in addition to action)

        • I’ll also say that I’ve been active in dems, DSA, IWW, and PSL (in that order… :p ) as I’ve aged and while DSA was good, IWW and PSL appear more action oriented (ie supporting labor activity, mutual aid)

          The last dem town hall I went to on gun violence, the moderator screened my question 😩
